My name is Julie, and I have many stories to tell about the many
blessings God has given me. But the biggest blessing I have from God would be my family. You see, when I was 17, I had a nervous breakdown and I turned to God hoping He could fix me.
I prayed one night for three little things to happen so I would know that God was really listening.
Well, as we all know, God has his own time table for things in life. After two years of waiting and almost
forgetting my prayer I received all three requests like a whirl wind.
First, my wedding went off without any problems. God had found me a husband that will promised to always love
me. Even after my parents had said no one could.
Second, I became pregnant after only 3 months of marriage. God was going to give me a child. Evan after Dr's said it
wasn't possible.
And finally, I moved out of
Ohio, my home town of 19 years, to be with my husband a thousand miles away in Louisianna. God got me out of the only home I'd ever known. I thought I'd never be able to leave.
I now have three angelic children (no
one will ever love my children as I do), all of which Dr's are amazed are here.
And I have been married for only 5 years and my husband is the most understanding man I have ever met. He's held my hand during labors and depressions, and has never
faltered in his love for me.
My children, though my first two had rough
beginnings, are the most joy filled part of each of my days. I am also thankful for being here in
Louisiana, where I know my job at helping others is not done.
God truly does listen, we just have to listen to Him as much as we want Him to listen to us.
