You may have noticed a southern touch to this website, or maybe you are from the SOUTH yourself and have popped in for a visit. For whatever reason you are here, WELCOME!

My ancestors may have started out from New England, but I am a Southern Woman.

Hubby and I have had the great fortune to live all over the Southeast. Here's a quick rundown of the wonderful cities we have lived in during our 25 plus years of marriage...

1. Stone Mountain, GA (got married)
2. Lexington, KY (had baby #1 & 2)
3. Bristol, TN (had baby #3)
4. Mobile, AL (got a great tan, learned all about mardis gras)
5. Raleigh, NC (had baby #4, arrived two wks after our move... hubby still wishes we had been in AL, his home state)
6. Roanoke, VA (started my publishing business)
7. Winston-Salem, NC (found my angel of an assistant)
8. Atlanta, GA (came back home after 20 years)
How did all THAT happen?!

When we've moved to Virginia and out into the country (a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway and on TOP of a mountain, no kidding!), we had some of the most INTERESTING experiences. Thankfully I wrote a few of them down for you...
